Extra online engagement event added – Thursday 6 January, from 6pm

Due to the Government’s latest coronavirus advice, we have had to unfortunately cancel the face-to-face drop-in event about Haringey Council’s proposals for new council rent homes in your area at Barbara Hucklesbury Close. This event was planned for late afternoon on Thursday 6 January. There will now be an additional online event, on Thursday 6 January, from 6pm .

To join us online: https://bit.ly/3sg7jID

This additional online event is an opportunity for you to learn more about the proposals for Barbara Hucklesbury Close, to make comments and ask our Project Team about the proposals:

• To build 14 high-quality new council rent homes at Barbara Hucklebury Close that will provide supported housing for adults with mental health needs, along with an office for support staff.

• Extensive new landscaped gardens, with all existing trees preserved and 9 new trees planted on the site.

• For the 8 bungalows on the site currently used for temporary accommodation to be demolished. There is no intention to demolish any other housing in this area and the council is working with the temporary accommodation residents to help them find alternative housing.

We are keen to get your view about these proposals. If you received an information pack, please return the questionnaire (using the freepost envelope) or use this website to give us your views by Sunday 9 January, 2021.
